First ARM powered “smart book”

In a field heavily treaded by intel, the semiconductor IP licensing company has come up with a processor that powers the latest lenovo skylight “smart book”. I took a peek at this device at CES (on the web ofcourse!) and I was utterly fascinated by its design.

HTC hat trickTaiwanese mobile maker HTC unveiled a trio of new handsets at Mobile World Congress – spearheaded by the stylish Legend.

HTC’s sleek phone picks up where its predecessor, the Hero, left off and some critics think it matches Apple’s iPhone in the style stakes.

The Legend is fashioned from a single piece of aluminium, like Apple’s MacBook, and combines touchscreen with an optical trackpad.

Running the latest Eclair 2.1 version of Google’s Android OS, the Legend features a 3.2-inch organic AMOLED display, for a crisper image than traditional backlit LED handsets. [ READ MORE ]

After the mistake that was Vista, Windows 7 was greeted like the second coming, and it many ways it really was better than its predecessor: less annoying, faster, smoother, more compatible with various pieces of hardware and software, and lets not forget about the games compatibility, its surely is something!

Initial sales numbers and market share reports have shown that Windows 7 is on the right track, but today it’s obvious that it will be one of the most successful products in Windows history, as it already caught 10 percent market share approximately three months after it arrived on the market. Hacker Breaks Into Sony’s PlayStation 3

ps3 total-breakdownSony’s PlayStation 3 has reportedly been hacked – by the technical wizard who cracked the iPhone. Seriously dude, this is all very interesting, but for a 20 year old bloke –get a life!!

George Hotz, 20, claims he has worked out how to access the console’s memory and central processor.

This could allow PlayStation 3 owners to run unauthorised software, play older PS 2 games, or install a different operating system.

The PlayStation officially only runs software licensed by Sony.
