Intel’s six core “GulfTown” processor
Did I just say six? Yes indeed, at first I thought it was a typo when I first read it on PCLab, but further research proved to be true. The six core processor of course shows strong increases in performance for the chip rumoured to be in the next series of the Mac Pro, sadly I wish the it was released on a pc first, which is herald as the mother platform of all games!(am not just saying that, it is a FACT!!)

It’s October 2009 which means something very special for Linux fans(me included): a 9.10 release of
Google earlier this month announced its new plans to release a new Operating System that is sure to bitch slap the naughty and heavily bugged Microsoft windows. Nine months after the realease of the all so popular google chrome browser, the search engine mogul has decided to embark on a project that it hopes will catch us all in a wave just like (almost) all its products on the market. This time, targeting its fan club base – internet users and their sauve netbooks.
Moblin is an Intel-created open-source operating system for netbooks and, specifically, the kind of people who use them. The first time i heard about this i was excited to see intel trying to get their hands down and dirty with software.
It is not everyday I sit down and reminisce technology advances in my home country, but the announcement of the fibre optic cable caught my attention.A 4,500km undersea fibre optic cable bringing broadband Internet connectivity to east Africa, reached the Kenyan coast from Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates today.
Its definitely not the hottest phone on the market(currently), but at least I have the pleasure of owning it, with a contract longer than the number of features on this gadget, and believe me, its feature packed, i am bound to get hooked, plus it is the first Nokia touch phone, cool innit?
